Are you the money media's top financial expert?
The prestigious trophy for Expert of the Year will be awarded to the best financial expert of 2022.
Winning this trophy is a huge boost to the career of any financial commentator, as following an inital round of judging and shortlisting, the winner will be decided exclusively by votes from financial journalists.
Entering is a great way to raise your profile and highlight your achievements.
Judges will be looking for evidence that you were the best media expert/commentator working within a financial services company or organisation during 2022.
Did your insight and knowledge put you front-and-centre of the financial journalism community during 2022?
Has your profile increased in the last year? Were you the leading voice of successful press campaigns?
How did these or any other changes result in positive outcomes/exposure for your organisation?
You'll need to submit:
- A short supporting statement (maximum 300 words) explaining why you should be considered for this award and why your submission deserves to win
- A 50-word summary of your entry, for use on the Awards website during the journalist vote (should your entry be shortlisted)
- A photograph of yourself for use in relevant Awards collateral, and on the night at the Headlinemoney Awards ceremony itself
Judges refer extensively to supporting statements during their deliberations, so be sure to include:
- A summary of your strengths and achievements over the past year
- A clear explanation of where and how often your views have been featured the financial press
- Details on the sucess of stories/campaigns with your involvement
- Examples and data to prove your expertise when it comes to working with the financial press
- Evidence of your dedication, professionalism, reputation for efficiency

All category shortlists will be announced in March 2023 followed by a vote by financial journalists to decide on the winners.
Widely acknowledged as the biggest night of the year for the UK’s money media, the industry will come together on Wednesday 12 July 2023, where the winners will be revealed at The Brewery in London, at the Headlinemoney Awards 2023
