To recognise the unique skills and knowledge of PRs operating in financial services, 2026 will see the return of specialist awards for leading comms professionals in the fields of mortgages, investments, banking savings, pensions and insurance & protection.

Theses prestigious trophies will be awarded to the best financial PR Professionals (in-house or agency) in each sector. Winning one of these trophies will be a huge boost to the career of any PR and comms individual, as following an initial round of judging and shortlisting, the winner will be decided exclusively by votes from financial journalists.

Judges will be looking for evidence of the best PR/communications professional (in-house or agency), in the fields of mortgages, investments, banking savings, pensions or insurance & protection, in 2025.

Entries will close at 11:55pm on Friday 30 January 2026 for the PR categories. Entries will NOT be accepted after the entry deadline due to a limited judging time frame.

How to enter:

• Entry forms for all categories can be found here

You'll need to submit:

• A short supporting statement (maximum 300 words) explaining why you should be considered as the top PR in your sector and why your submission deserves to win
• A 50-word summary of your entry, for use on the Awards website during the journalist vote (should your entry be shortlisted)
• (Optional) Two attachments to supplement your entry
• A photograph of yourself for use in relevant Awards collateral, and on the night at the Headlinemoney Awards ceremony itself

Judges refer extensively to supporting statements during their deliberations, so be sure to include:

• A summary of your media relations strengths and achievements over the past year
• A clear explanation of your communications expertise when it comes to working with the financial press in your sector
• Details on the success of stories/campaigns produced for your organisation/clients
• Any strategies you led/developed to increase coverage
• Examples and data to prove your communications expertise when it comes to working with the financial press
• Evidence of your dedication, professionalism, reputation for efficiency
• Use the opportunity to supplement your entry with up to two files - reports, data, clippings etc to support your statement

Judging & shortlists

Entries in each category will be scrutinised by a panel of financial journalist judges. Judges will determine the shortlists, followed by by a journalist vote to select the winners.

Winners

The winners will be revealed at London Hilton on Park Lane on Tuesday 23 June 2026, in a celebration widely acknowledged as the biggest night of the year for the UK’s money media.
