Ayesha Hazarika to present the 2023 Headlinemoney Awards
We’re delighted to announce political commentator, writer and comedian Ayesha Hazarika MBE as the host of the 2023 Headlinemoney Awards on 12 July at The Brewery in London.
Ayesha will join us to present the category winners with their trophies at Headlinemoney's annual awards ceremony and dinner. The evening is the culmination of a two stage, peer-judged process recognising excellence across the UK’s financial journalist and media relations communities.

Ayesha Hazarika MBE is a well-known columnist, broadcaster and political commentator. Her career began as a stand-up comedian before she made the natural transition into politics as a Special Adviser for the Labour Party, working with them for eight years in both Government and Opposition.
Since leaving front-line politics, Ayesha has become a sought-after pundit, regularly appearing on news and current affairs programmes such as Question Time, Sky Papers, and The Today Programme. In addition to her media appearances, she has also contributed to various publications, including The Scotsman, FT, Guardian, New Statesman, and Grazia.
Ayesha's unique ability to combine her sharp political insight with her comedic background has made her a highly sought-after speaker and host. She addresses a variety of topics, including how politics works, how messages are communicated, and the challenges that women in politics often face in their careers.
Ayesha's show "State of the Nation," which lifts the lid on what life is really like behind the scenes at Westminster with brutal honesty and humour, has been highly successful and toured throughout the UK, including a hugely successful run at the Soho Theatre. Ayesha is a regular face on political panel shows and is the co-host of the podcast "Take on Tomorrow," produced by PwC, which explores the role of business in solving societal issues.
