The BDLA is the UK’s only trade association dedicated to representing the interests of bridging and development lenders and their customers. Formerly known as the Association of Short Term Lenders (ASTL), the association originally launched in 2008, and since then we have played an instrumental role in helping to grow the size and reputation of the bridging and development lending industry. Its total membership exceeds 100 organisations, and the loan books of lender members total more than £13bn.
