Categories updated for 2025 awards

Winning a Headlinemoney Award is a massive boost for any financial journalist or communications professional, and a great opportunity to demonstrate your expertise!

Entries will open on 8 January 2025 and we’ve refreshed our categories, so please start considering what you can enter. Changes include:

• The addition of a Broadcast of the Year category, to recognise the whole team behind programmes and broadcast productions.
• To highlight the achievements of bloggers, podcasters etc. not associated with a mainstream title, we’ve created an Independent Financial Influencer of the Year
• The former Local & Regional Journalist of the Year category has been renamed to Nations and Regions Journalist of the Year.
• Campaign of the Year has been replaced by a Diversity and Financial Inclusion Story of the Year
• Elsewhere, the separate B2B and Consumer elements of the General Insurance Journalist of the Year category have been combined into one award

Here’s a full list of categories and details on how to enter. All entries are free and submissions must be from the calendar year 2024.

Entries will close at 11pm on Friday 31 January 2025 for the PR categories.
Entries will close at 11pm on Friday 7 February 2025 for the journalist categories.

Please note, for the 2025 awards, entries will NOT be accepted after the entry deadline due to a limited judging time frame.

Category shortlists will be announced in May 2025.
