Chris Irwin, Director of Savings, Yorkshire Building Society will speak at the Headlinemoney Masterclass on Thursday 18 April 2024.

Chris has worked in financial services for over 18 years. He joined Yorkshire Building Society in 2012 and has undertaken various roles including Director of Mortgages before being appointed Director of Savings in January 2022.  He aims to deliver a savings range to help customers and members achieve their savings goals and financial well-being. He is an expert in his field, committed to doing the best for customers with award-winning products.

As a building society we’re run differently from a bank. We don’t have external shareholders to satisfy, instead we’re here for the benefit of our members. The money we earn is given back to our customers in interest rates, goes towards paying for the service we provide or gets re-invested to build a stronger society for the future.

We’ve built our strategy around our purpose of providing Real Help with Real Life.

For us that means delivering three central ambitions: helping people to have a place to call home and helping them towards greater financial wellbeing, whilst creating long-term value for our members.

The Headlinemoney Masterclass will be held on Thursday 18 April 2024, where experts from three other financial services companies will give succinct overviews of their sectors for financial journalists. Find out more and book a place.
