The trophy for Rising Star PR Professional of the Year will be awarded to the best financial services PR/communications professional.

Entrants should have started their first financial PR role after 1 January 2020.

Entering and winning this award is an excellent endorsement of your developing skills, with previous winner's going on to establish successful careers in the industry.

Did you contribute to successful press campaigns?

Did you aid new strategies to increase exposure for your organisation/clients?

You'll need to submit:

  • A short supporting statement (maximum 300 words) explaining why you should be considered for this award and why your submission deserves to win
  • A 50-word summary of your entry, for use on the Awards website during the journalist vote (should your entry be shortlisted)
  • A photograph of yourself for use in relevant Awards collateral, and on the night at the Headlinemoney Awards ceremony itself

Judges refer extensively to supporting statements during their deliberations, so be sure to include:

  • A summary of your media relations strengths and achievements since January 2020
  • Details on the success of stories/campaigns produced for your organisation/clients
  • Any strategies you developed to increase coverage
  • Examples and data to prove your communications expertise when it comes to working with the financial press
  • Evidence of your dedication, professionalism, reputation for efficiency.

All category shortlists will be announced in March 2023 followed by a vote by financial journalists to decide on the winners.

Widely acknowledged as the biggest night of the year for the UK’s money media, the industry will come together on Wednesday 12 July 2023, where the winners will be revealed at The Brewery in London, at the Headlinemoney Awards 2023
