James Jones, Head of Consumer Affairs, Experian, will speak at the Headlinemoney Masterclass on Thursday 18 April 2024.

James joined Experian from university in 1992 and currently leads the firm's public education programme, guiding people on subjects such as credit reporting, credit scoring and identity fraud. James regularly appears in the media, represents Experian on several cross-industry forums, and is a director of MALG. the Money Advice Liaison Group.

Experian is a leading data technology company that operates one of the UK’s main credit reference agencies. We help lenders manage the risk of providing credit and help consumers know & improve their credit score and use it to access affordable finance. Promoting consumer financial health is a key focus that shapes much of our work, including our long-running public education programme. Experian’s head of consumer affairs, James Jones, leads that work and is a primary spokesperson for the business.
