Session 1 09:20 – 10:20	From Intention to Action: helping savers become investors Speaker: James Norton, Head of Retirement & Investments, Vanguard UK Millions of UK savers say they plan to start investing in the next few years, signaling that the UK may be at a tipping point in its investing journey. This session will explore what's driving that shift, the barriers still holding people back, and four principles that can help turn good intentions into long-term investment success. We'll discuss the importance of confidence, behaviour and staying focused on what investors can control, whatever the market environment.

Session 3 11:40 - 12:40	Credit Scores: What Everyone Should Know Speaker: John Webb, Head of Consumer Affairs, Experian A credit score overview session – helping journalists understand what they mean, how they’re used and how to improve. The session will also cover lending decisions, public education and Experian support.

Session 4 13:40 – 14:40	Mortgages 101: how the market really works and what journalists need to know Speaker: Tom Simpson, Managing Director of Homes, Yorkshire Building Society This session will cover what journalists most need to understand and how developments in the market translate into the experience of different customers. The session will cover how the mortgage market fits together; how mortgage pricing really works, how lenders make decisions, and what the current market means for customers.
