Graeme Gillespie, Director of Commercial Strategy, Hometrack will speak at Headlinemoney's Masterclass on Thursday 13 November 2025.

His session will explore some of the more general property challenges in the market including the complex relationship between mortgages, the housing market, and access to homeownership, the impact of increased flood risk, the need for high loan-to-value lending and how regulatory changes have inadvertently created a severe affordability problem for First-Time Buyers in the UK and recent government announcements around improving the house buying process.

Graeme has worked at Hometrack for five years, where he is now Director of Commercial Strategy.  He works closely with Chief Risk Officers and MD's of Mortgages across the sector.  Prior to Hometrack he spent 14 years as an independent consultant and change director, leading digital transformation programmes at major banks including Lloyds, HSBC, NatWest and Barclays.  He has over 30 years experience in financial services technology, working in the UK, USA, Europe, MENA and Hong Kong.

About Hometrack

Hometrack is the UK's leading provider of valuation and property risk software to the residential property sector.  More than 50 UK mortgage lenders, including 18 of the top 20, use Hometrack to assess properties for both mortgage origination and back book portfolio management.  More recently the company's services have expanded beyond just automated valuation and now incorporate the impact from other risks including climate change driven flooding, new build price erosion, proximity to commercial property and other "negative" locations, etc.

The Headlinemoney Masterclass will be held on Thursday 13 November 2025, where Richard will be joined by other experts from financial services companies to give succinct overviews of their sectors for financial journalists. Find out more and book a place.
