Judges will be looking for evidence that you were the top financial journalist covering your sector in 2025
Were your articles original and essential reading for your audience? Did you consistently break or highlight important issues within the sector? Did your specialist knowledge enable you to provide fresh perspectives or offer useful guidance and analysis in your features?
This is your chance to showcase your best work from last year, so don't miss out!
Closing dates:
Journalist awards: Entries will close at 11:55pm on Friday 6 February 2026
Please note, entries will not be accepted after the entry deadlines due to a limited judging timeframe.
How to enter:
- Entry forms for all categories can be found here
You'll need to submit:
- A short supporting statement (maximum 300 words) explaining why you should be considered for the award and why your submission deserves to win.
- Three examples of your work, features, articles, investigations, etc, showcasing your skill as a journalist and specialist knowledge of the relevant sector.
- A headshot of yourself for use in relevant Awards collateral and on the night at the Headlinemoney Awards ceremony.

Judging & shortlists
Entries in each category will be scrutinised by a panel of judges drawn from the financial media. Judges will determine the shortlists, which will be announced in March/April 2026.
After shortlisting, the final and all-important judging phase to decide all the category winners will take place. Judging panels will engage in a discussion to select the winners.
Winners
The winners will be revealed at London Hilton on Park Lane on Tuesday 23 June 2026, in a celebration widely acknowledged as the biggest night of the year for the UK’s money media.
