About John Fitzsimons
I have spent my career writing about money. I started in 2007 as a reporter at Mortgage Solutions, moving up to become editor. In 2009 I moved into the world of personal finance as a writer at loveMONEY, where I again worked up the ranks to become editor.
In 2016, after a brief foray into PR, I went freelance and had work published by the likes of the Mirror, the Sunday Times, the Sun, the Daily Mail and Moneyweek. I also did copywriting for financial services companies.
Since 2024 I have been Client Services Director at Square 1 Media, a PR agency specialising in the world of property and mortgages.
