Megan Harwood-Baynes is a senior money reporter with The Times and Sunday Times. She previously worked for Sky News, where she was one of the UK's first cost-of-living reporters, and covered social affairs and health, as well as undertaking a stint with their data and forensics team. Before this, she worked at the Press Association and trained at the Isle of Wight County Press, where she worked as a local democracy reporter.

She is particularly interested in wealth inequality, pensions, and never paying full price for anything. Outside of work, she enjoys good food, books, and following the formula one.
