Kara Gammell is an award-winning financial journalist with nearly 20 years’ experience writing for national newspapers and magazines such as The Metro, The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Times, Good Housekeeping, The Guardian, The Observer, Marie Claire, The Sun, Cosmopolitan and The Radio Times. Kara has been a columnist at the Metro since 2017, sharing money savings hacks each week in The Bargain Hunter. Kara has also regularly commentated on consumer issues on television and radio stations such as Rip Off Britain, ITV News, Talk Radio, BBC You & Yours, BBC Moneybox, BBC Wake Up to Money and Times Radio.
