About Moneyfarm
Moneyfarm is an award-winning pan-European digital wealth manager with 167,000 active investors and more than £5 billion in total assets on the platform. Launched in 2012 and headquartered in the UK, Moneyfarm has a vision to help more people improve their financial wellbeing by making personal investing simple and accessible through technology. The business is a disruptor and is considered one of the most influential fintechs in the UK and Italy.
The company is led by co-founder Giovanni Daprà with Dame Jayne-Anne Gadhia, former CEO of Virgin Money, as its Chair. Moneyfarm is regulated by the FCA and backed by Allianz Asset Management, M&G plc, Cabot Square Capital, Poste Italiane S.p.A and United Ventures.
Moneyfarm continues to innovate and evolve its proposition, currently offering both a stocks and shares ISA and a cash ISA, as well as a Junior ISA, SIPP, and general investment accounts (GIAs), with traditional risk-rated portfolios and sustainable investing portfolios available. There is also Liquidity+, a unique portfolio of money market funds managed by top global asset managers, and DIY investing, an execution-only service for clients who want to buy and sell shares, ETFs, bonds, and mutual funds. These services are available through both a web-based platform and an easy-to-use app, combining the latest technology with human guidance available however the client prefers, including via the app, telephone, chat, or video call.
Moneyfarm is an acquisitive business. It acquired Wealthsimple’s UK book of clients in December 2021 and, in 2023, acquired Profile Pensions, a UK digital pension adviser and consolidator that enables clients to consolidate and manage their pensions in a straightforward way. In December 2024, Moneyfarm acquired Willis Owen, an award-winning investment platform, to expand the company’s footprint in the UK.
In addition to its direct-to-client activities, Moneyfarm can provide its B2B2C partners with bespoke solutions, combining a technology platform, product wrappers, asset management capabilities, back-office operations, and an engagement model. These bespoke solutions are embedded into the propositions of Poste Italiane (Postefuturo Investimenti), Unicredit’s Buddybank (Steppy by Moneyfarm), Banca Sella (Sella Evolution powered by Moneyfarm) and eToro (eToro ISA powered by Moneyfarm), serving thousands of clients.
In testament to the quality of service Moneyfarm provides, and the trust placed in it by clients to help achieve their financial goals, the company has received several prominent industry awards and accreditations. These include being recognised for the fifth consecutive year in the 2025 Boring Money Awards, winning ‘Best Buy SIPP 2025’, ‘Best App 2025’, and ‘Best for Low-Cost ISA Funds and Shares’. Additionally, Moneyfarm was awarded ‘Best Investment ISA – Medium Portfolio’ and ‘Best Mobile Investment’ in the prestigious YourMoney.com Awards 2025, marking its third consecutive year of recognition. In March 2025, Moneyfarm was also recognised in the Financial Times’ ‘FT1000 Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies Special Report’ for the second year running. Moneyfarm boasts a Trustpilot score of 4.1, classified as Great.’
In July 2024, Moneyfarm became the first digital wealth manager in the UK to obtain a B Corp certification. This milestone achievement recognised Moneyfarm’s commitment to ethical business practices and responsible investing.

LITRG is an initiative of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, which is an educational charity – we are not part of HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC), the government department which deals with tax and tax credits. Although we do engage closely with HMRC and other government departments on our work, we are unable to access tax or tax credit records, make changes to information or pass on reported changes to HMRC.
Since 1998, LITRG has been working to improve the policy and processes of the tax, tax credits and associated welfare systems for the benefit of people on low incomes. Everything we do is aimed at improving the tax and benefits experience of workers (employed, self-employed and agency workers, etc), pensioners, migrants, students, disabled people and carers.
LITRG works extensively with HMRC, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), HM Treasury, Revenue Scotland, Scotland Office, the Welsh Government, and the Welsh Revenue Authority as well as other government departments, local authorities and devolved administrations. We comment on proposals and put forward our own ideas for improving the system. Too often, tax and related welfare laws and administrative systems are not designed with the low-income user in mind and this often makes life difficult for those we try to help.
LITRG also works with other charitable organisations.
Abundance Investment is the UK's leading ethical investment crowdfunding platform, enabling people to invest as little as £5 in their choice of green, socially-useful projects and businesses.
Investment is not in shares, but as loans in the form of tradable, full-regulated Debentures - a form of 'bond' issued by the business chosen. These investments offer returns as regular, typically half yearly payments. NB - Abudnance Debentures are NOT "mini-bonds"!
Investment can be held in an Abundance Innovative Finance ISA or Abudnance Pension (SIPP) to enjoy returns tax free or in a taxable general investment account.
Abundance was the first crowdfunding comapany in the world to gain full regulatory sign-off (by the FSA) and is today authorised and regulated by the FCA.
To date it has raised more than £138m, successfully funding 50 projects and has paid more £40m in returns.
The cofounders and joint MDs of Abundance are Louise Wilson, Karl Harder and Bruce Davis.
