I lead on the investment-focused external communications activity at Rathbones, with a particular lens on B2B audiences and the Group’s Rathbones Asset Management subsidiary and charities business. I am working with the  PR team to shape a new narrative and reputational strategy to position Rathbones as a true sector leader. It’s an exciting to be part of a new growth phase for one of the oldest and most prestigious firms in UK wealth and asset management, with renewed commitment to its purpose of helping people to invest well so that they can live well.

I was previously Senior Manager of PR & Communications at Hargreaves Lansdown, planning and shaping how the team created and reacted to business, economic and personal finance news.  I secured analysts from across the business print and broadcast interviews to share their views on the stories that matter most and helping to empower people to make good financial decisions. 

At HL, we won Press Team of the Year at the 2024 HeadlineMoney Awards, which we were thrilled about - having worked hard to effectively and efficiently deliver the best coverage in our sector. I was also shortlisted in the top 5 as PR Professional of the Year in the 2025 awards. 

Earlier in my career, I was a Senior Broadcast Journalist and News Editor for BBC Breakfast, Good Morning Britain and Talk TV, managing stories, guests and bulletins for engaging and informative live broadcasts.  I honed my skills during my 14 years at the BBC, producing television, radio programmes and live events – delivering breaking news, standout entertainment and coverage of historic moments from around the world. I also used to run my own media, PR and communications consultancy.
